COMBOA
Comboa are one of the largest and most common livestock species currently domesticated by the cats. Despite their stubborn personalities and sharp teeth, they are a valuable resource and well-loved by their ranchers.
Their value lies mostly in their ability to eat just about anything. Meat, plants, and decomposers, yes, but also byproducts that all but the most extreme specialists would turn away. Their many stomachs, strong acid, and regenerating teeth mean that comboa can chow down through just about anything. Bones, exosceletons, fur, decaying plant matter. You name it, a comboa can call it dinner. So long as it's an organic material (though they do ocassionally eat minerals to aid in digestion). Their dietary choices and large litter sizes make them one of the best choices in livestock.
Wild herds of comboa are only found in the Floodplains, and tend to be dull in coloration. Domesticated comboa are easily recognized by their larger sizes, softer and brighter fur, and brilliantly colored shells.
Comboa are farmed both as a source of food and textiles. Adult's meat tends to be gamey and tough (unless fed on a specific diet), and so most ranchers will pick their favorites and keep them, harvesting yearlings as needed. Their fur is used to make leather and fur products, and aesthetically pleasing shells are used as bowls, or carved into cutlery or plates.
